Material grades are classifications of materials based on their properties and composition.

Different material grades are designed to meet specific performance requirements in various high criticality applications such as strength, corrosion resistance, temperature resistance, and durability. 

It’s important to understand materials grades in order to choose the right fasteners and components for your particular application to ensure performance, safety, and longevity.

Stainless steels

Stainless steel is known for its corrosion resistance, making it a top choice for industries where exposure to harsh environments is common, such as oil and gas, subsea, and petrochemical. 

The strength and durability of stainless steel also make it ideal for components subjected to high pressure and temperature fluctuations. In these industries, stainless steel is often used for pipelines, valves, and storage tanks.


Carbon and alloy steels
